The PEC Core Compliance course will train the student to the HAZWOPER Awareness and Operational Level. The following topics will be covered:

• Identifying potential hazards
• Discuss the role of HAZWOPER Awareness and Operations Level personnel
• Discuss methods that can be used to recognize hazardous materials
• Demonstrate how to use the DOT Emergency Response Guidebook
• Describe basic control and containment techniques

In addition to presentation of the course material, reviewing the company?s emergency response plan must be done to fulfill the regulatory requirements.
